What’s in a name?

Buffalo Point is a place on the Buffalo National River in the mountains of north Arkansas. The Buffalo was America’s first National River. A popular destination to spend a day or three floating along in a canoe, it is one of the few remaining undammed rivers in the lower 48 states and flows through three separate designated Wilderness areas along its 153-mile span.
